How flexible are SMEAAS services?
We visit the client's premises to meet, collect and deliver work.
No assignment is too small, too big or complicated. We are committed in offering services to maximize value and increase measurable benefits.
Hours spent to deliver results are minimized due to expertise and know how - the value and quality of the outcome is our priority.
Our objectives are to cultivate an attitude of interest and awareness by motivating participation methodologies to transfer understanding and knowledge our clients.

How do SMEAAS deliver?
Unless instructed otherwise we may, where appropriate, communicate with our clients via email or by other electronic means.
With electronic communication there is a risk of non-receipt, delayed receipt, inadvertent misdirection or interception by third parties. SMEAAS use virus-scanning software to reduce this risk.
In terms of financial reporting and presentations etc. we deliver on a meeting date (as per client's specifications) - in a folder or binder format and in addition, cut to Compact Disk.
Results are discussed, presented and reviewed in detail in a one-on-one / group environment.

SMEAAS Code of Professional Conduct?
SMEAAS is a registered practice and is bound by Code of Professional Conduct. Therefore allegations of improper conduct against SMEAAS registered practice can be raised with the responsible member: Jeanet Human.
However if such allegations of improper conduct is not resolved to the satisfaction of the client, allegations can be brought to the direct attention of ICSA and or SAICA.
SMEAAS will observe and act in accordance with the bye-laws, regulations and ethical guidelines of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and will accept instructions to act for clients on that basis.

SMEAAS Business confidentiality?
Communication between SMEAAS and its clients are confidential and all reasonable steps will be exercised to keep clients information private; except where required to disclose it by law, by regulatory bodies, by SMEAAS insurers or as part of an external peer review.
Unless authorized by our clients to disclose information on their behalf this undertaking will apply during and after an engagement.

SMEAAS Business data protection?
We will comply with the provisions of the PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION BILL published in Government Gazette No. 32495 of 14 August 2009 when processing personal data about our clients.
In order to carry out services as requested by the client and for related purposes such as updating and enhancing SMEAAS client records, analysis for management purposes and statutory returns, legal and regulatory compliance and crime prevention SMEAAS may obtain, process, use and disclose personal data about clients.

SMEAAS fee structures and payment terms?
Fees may depend not only upon the time spent on client's affairs but also on the level of skill, responsibility, the importance, value of the service and advice provided, as well as the level of perceived risk.
Fixed fees are negotiated based on short and long term requirements and are tailor made for each client's requirements.
Fees are exclusive of VAT and are payable on Invoice.
